New books for a new school year

New books for a new school year

Children at our partner school in Kitgum, northern Uganda, are beginning the new academic year with access to 200 new books to help them in their studies.

In discussions with the JMT team last year, Christian Comfort Ministries (CCM) highlighted its lack of text books, explaining that the government only provides such books to schools that it runs, leaving other schools to find their own.

We’re delighted that we could make a special grant, enabling CCM to purchase the story and reference books, which will be distributed across the various classes at the school.

We hope to be able to provide further funding in the future, as more books are needed. Please contact us if you would like to help us with this.
